The Boxing Stance
- If you are right-handed you are an orthodox boxer so take a step back with your right foot.
- If you are left-handed you are a southpaw boxer so take a step back with your left foot.
- Knees bent with 50% of your weight on your back foot and 50% of your weight on your front foot.
- Toes pointed 45%
- Angle your lead shoulder towards your back foot.
- Elbows in, chin down and tucked behind your lead shoulder.
- Find some rhythm by transferring your weight from front to back while maintaining your balance. Core on and glutes fired!
- Heels are not planted!
- Try to stay relaxed and breathe!
